Is culture dependent on morals or not?
on: May 01, 2015, 12:28:24 AM
Hi Everyone,

It seems like a good question to discuss - and here with a deliberate inversion of the posited relationship suggested between the two in another thread in this forum.

The question may need yet further clarification.

Yes, since we don't seem to quite agree on what morals actually mean.

But in general, I'd say that whatever we think morals are, they are definitely INTERDEPENDENT with culture. And the IDEA of morality is actually one part of what makes a culture.
