Hi senanserat! Good job playing this piece. I didn't really listen to it that closely, but my first impression was to practice those right hand trills. You're currently doing 4-3-4 or 3-2-3 but if you could, it would be ideal to play 4-3-4-3——4 or 3-2-3-2——3. If you can play them really rightly and evenly it will tie the piece together and make the whole thing sound better. Great job!
I personally think it's always better to simplify (reduce notes to slow down) in baroque trills than to play them clumsily and out of meter. You can always add more notes when your skills develope. I would first just practice fitting a short trill in the time allotted, minding the pulse and giving the main note all the attention it deserves.
Hi senanserat,It is none of my business, I am curious though [and I can say why by private message] if you are a mechanical or an electrical P.E.?About the playing here, I think you are off to a great start. I would suggest, if possible, to work toward making it more cantabile as J.S. Bach suggested with phrases entering and departing in such a manner. That is only a suggestion - you might prefer it more robustamente, et c.Are you going to go through the others in the set eventually, or just the first one for now?Mvh,Michael
I was not necessarily suggesting holding the last note of the trill longer, I just was suggesting adding another turn. You are doing an excellent job with this piece. Keep playing, recording, and posting!
