I was drawn by the title. Quidquid latine dictum sit, altum videtur. But the composition did not live up to it. I hate to sound negative, but this is really a dreadfully boring piece. Were you
influenced by Satie's Gymnopedies and Gnossiennes ? I admit to finding those quite boring too
so it could be partly my fault.
IMO a composition should be more than just repeating one idea over and over - unless you do interesting things with it along the way. It does not help that the pedal makes a sauce of it all.
