1969 or 70 Baldwin R Artist Series
on: May 10, 2015, 12:01:49 AM
I got a call today from the mother of a former student. A house she is selling contains this Baldwin Model R 5' 8" grand. I played it for quite a while and liked the action and tone. Of course, I will make arrangements for my tech to go through it before I decide anything. The piano was purchased new by this family and maintained regularly. Unfortunately I can't speak to that tech since he passed away last year but he was the best in our area so I am hopeful. They are asking $7500. Thoughts?

(What can I say? I love D-flat!)
