I wanted to know what intermediate pieces there were that would help me with my musicality? In order of progressive difficulty rather than grades.

Are you aiming to boost your repertoire? Some of chopins preludes are good intermediate standard. Also you could try satie's gymnopedies and clementi's sonatinas.
