How can I include a musical excerpt in a post?
on: June 02, 2015, 01:31:39 AM
(I know this is a technical question, not a musical question. Please forgive if I"m posting in the wrong forum.)

I sometimes want to include an image in a post, to illustrate a musical excerpt. How can I do that? I see the "image" button, but I'm not sure how it would work. Is that the right way, or is there a better way? For what it's worth, I'm using a Mac.

Thanks.

The [ IMG ]xxx [/IMG ] works only if the xxx is a link to an image on the web. To use it, you have to put the image somewhere that it can be located on the web.

An alternative is to use the attachment function, which is under "additional options" below the text entry box when you are making a post. You need to click on it to see the list of options.
