Hi Everyone,

The demonstration of perfect pitch begins at 5:10, and at about 11:00 begins the playing of melody/melody fragments.

Mvh,
Michael

"No felines were harmed in the making of this video", as the cliché might have it.

Zez Confrey's title Kitten on the Keys still retains a more authentic ring about it than would the same with "Ppuppy" substituted" (which God - or someone - forbid!), IHMO...

If nothing else, it arguably might be perceived as lending a new connotation to that other cliché "dog eat dog"...

Best,

Alistair

Hi Ronde_des_syphles,

I already know Vallée d'Obermann.  Thanks nonetheless for the suggestion!

Or something by Matthias Pintscher, perhaps...

Again, God (or someone) forbid!...

Possibly even Une Barque sur l'Ocean.
Or indeed anything notable for fermata - or paws, if you prefer - especially if the copy of the score is dog-eared.

Better still, Mozart's Violin Sonta No. 4 in G, methinks.
