I played this piece when I was taking lessons many years ago.  Since I'm recovering from a tennis elbow injury, I thought I would re-learn pieces I used to play and love.  I added a stringendo section midway after listening to Cherkassky perform this lovely piece:

Thanks for sharing that.

I think maybe it needs some asynchronization of voices and rolled chords (whether identical to what is in the score, or with the notes added in by the performer).

Anton Rubinstein was a great composer, no doubt about it.
