Bravissimo!
Your sound recordist, however, needs to be taken out and shot. Then dragged in, fixed up and taken out and shot again.

Well, yes... but that's a bit too harsh (especially the second time around). Conditions were not optimal, to say the least. And all we had was a Zoom.

Wow, your perfomance is amazing!
I love Schubert. It's one of the most beautiful piano piece and one of the most difficult. Greetings from Poland!

Great performance, even despite the fact it sounds like you were recorded from far away. I listened to your Liszt Sonata too, amazing! You do have an impressive repertoire, I can't believe how many sonatas you have learned.

Thanks, guys, for all the appreciative words.
Acquiring repertoire, nastassja, is my main job right now. At one of the workshops, Fleisher said that the time to acquire repertoire is before you're 18. So I must hurry...
I'll be playing a recital at the Mill Hill Music Club in London, on Sep 6. If any of you guys are in the area, and if there are any tickets left, write to me (lanyi@chars.com) and I'll try to save an invitation for you. Here's the link:

do you think he meant that it's harder to acquire high end rep after 18--like a physiological thing--or that you should have enough rep to go pro at 18 so you can start your career instead of sitting in a practice room? It seems to me you have already started a career... I know the lion's share of my rep came long after I turned 18... so I'm curious. .

I think what he meant is that one's brain is much better wired for learning new things at a younger age than later on. I also think that building up a large repertoire early allows you later to "bring back" pieces you need to perform rather having to learn them. I find that every time I bring back a piece I have played earlier, I play it with much greater insight than if I had just learned it. I could think of other reasons also for acquiring a large repertoire before you begin performing in earnest; for example, it is difficult to play Brahms well if you haven't played Schumann, and so on...
