Leather binding a score.

Anyone know if this is common or done it before? Basically taking a old score and sending it to some specialty place and it coming back in a leather cover.

Done it once, very expensive, brilliant job. Had gold lettering as well.

Regretfully, the norm seems to be the other way around. Dealer buys big book, tears out the individual pieces and sells them separately.

Interesting. Gold lettering? I suppose there is the option of labeling it, too. Never thought of that. I had in mind a plain soft brown leather.

I expected it to be expensive, but a couple scores I have posses a value equal to that of life itself, and they'll be that way till drop dead so might as well make them nice.
