What's the deal with the clock on this forum?
on: December 17, 2004, 03:35:26 PM
Is it set to GMT?  I just posted at 8:30am (local time) and the post was marked as being made at 3:30pm.

Can you change the clock to be your local time?

Inquiring minds... and newbies everywhere... want to know.

You need to edit your profile and change preferences. Click on that little button maked "Profile" beside the little guy in the white shirt (top center) to edit your profile.  Then go to "Look and Layout Preferences".   In the Time Offset box, put -6 for CST, -7 for RMT, -8 for PST.  Then be sure to click "Change Profile" button at the very bottom of the page.  That will set your time to your local time zone.  (Yes, I *am* a major geek, but *mine* is right. :P )  (If you go back to the previous page, click "Refresh".  All time stamps will update to your local setting.)

No.  That was simple courtesy.  Replying to this is a superfluous, thinly vieled attempt at boosting post count.  Hrmmmph!  :P :-[ ;D

But you misread me.  I didn't say superfluous, I said superfluffous.  Big difference. :-*
