Funerals are a waste of time. I have no interest in providing entertainment and a bunfight for scores of people who never gave me the time of day unless they wanted something. I expect those who do matter to me will be busily contacting the bank, the solicitor, and fighting over the house and what's in it that they can flog off for a few bob. If, on the other hand, my wife pegs out first, I shall be morally obliged to organise a two-hour memorial concert owing to the dozens of pieces she asserts must be played at her funeral.
Quite frankly I cannot be bothered thinking too much about either outcome.
