Piano Street Magazine:
A Free Grand Piano? – Scammers Target Piano Enthusiasts

If you’re in the market for a piano, be cautious of a new scam that’s targeting music lovers, businesses, schools, and churches. I have noticed that, from earlier today, the forum display seems to be much smaller than it has always been; as this does not affect any other pages/programs, I wonder if it is indeed peculiar to this forum and, if so, what might be done about it.

Kind regards,

Who should? Nils? Also, I'm not sure to what extent your remark here will cut ice with our vast swathes of American members...

Seriously, though, has yours also suddenly changed? I asked about this here because the issue does not seem to be localised to my computer as it is not reflected in anything other than this forum, as I mentioned initially.

Best,

Alistair

Sadly enough, I would say it is your eyes. I just recently upgraded to a 4K monitor and the text is still perfectly legible without having to change any font sizes or anything.

No, it's not them; given the suddenness and extent of the change, it couldn't be so in any case. However, I've found out what it is now, although I still don't know how it had happened; I've corrected it by using the zoom facility and hadn't thought of this before because I'd assumed that something as general as that would affect all pages using the same browser but I now find that this is not after all the case.

So - problem solved!

This is not about the display size, it's about the background color of the site.  Is it possible to change it?  Right now it's black, which after I have been reading the posts for awhile, I start to see glare.  Can we change it?  Or Can 'I' change it on my setting?  I looked everywhere on the site, can't seem to find the option.

Poems of Ecstasy – Scriabin’s Complete Piano Works Now on Piano Street

The great early 20th-century composer Alexander Scriabin left us 74 published opuses, and several unpublished manuscripts, mainly from his teenage years – when he would never go to bed without first putting a copy of Chopin’s music under his pillow. All of these scores (220 pieces in total) can now be found on Piano Street’s Scriabin page. Read more
