I liked it !

 I compose originals as well and caught a little inspiration from your piece, It's still ringing in my head. But more, I  know the rewarding feeling of playing your own music and the frustration of getting it to come off just as your best playing attempts go when playing alone but now recording. ( I personally can become a bit tense when recording, losing a little of the free flow in my music).

 Good job !
Depressing the pedal on an out of tune acoustic piano and playing does not result in tonal color control or add interest, it's called obnoxious.
