Bach: Partita 2 in C minor

That's a playlist with my performance of J.S. Bach's C minor Partita. All comments and suggestions are more than welcome!

Just to add that it's a live concert performance.

There was a problem with the codec in movements 3-6, it should be fine now.

really love this...
nice job.
I really like how cleanly animated and crisp this is... nice phrasing, too.
and really beautiful from the intro into the main theme...sweet.
great tempo -- maintained beautifully throughout
sounds like you were enjoying yourself when you were performing... look forward to hearing more from you.

Thank you so much for the boosting comments, it means a lot! I really did enjoy myself every time I performed this piece, I enjoy playing Bach immensely in general, and this piece in particular especially. I posted several more of my recordings here, Liszt Sonata, Rachmaninoff's Etude-Tableau op. 39 No. 5 and his Second Concerto - first mvt, Prokofiev's Seventh Sonata and Shchedrin's Basso ostinato (video). If you find the time to listen some of those pieces as well, I would be grateful.

Yes, i like your bach. Flowing and very musical. Some of the tempi i don't agree with, and you should do the repeats. But other then that i like your sound, use of pedal and overall spirito!

just wanted to tell you I checked out your videos... and I was pleasantly amazed I must say... you are a very fearless player--the Shchedrin was so so cool. WOW!!
so you are from where? is that Latvia or Estonia on your page? I don't know --just guessing I'm and American and we are not known for our grasp of geography.
and you are at university?

Thank you so much, dcstudio! I'm from Serbia, and I live there currently (the cover photo I used for my profile is just some stock photo), but the Bach was recorded during my Master's degree in Norway, which also answers your last question
I work as an accompanist, but I am trying to perform solo as often as I can. That doesn't pay bills, though, since it's mostly unpaid where I live (unless you are really top of the crop)...

well I live in the US and performing solo is a tough way to pay the bills --- I have to play jazz... I also play with a band---I sing and play guitar, too. I do a lot of accompanying as well and I used to carry quite a student load. the joke here is that we musicians have $6000 in equipment and we pack it in a $500 car to play a $50 gig... we hope for lots of tip$ and work day jobs.
you have some serious chops!! I think you will do fine.
Norway huh? cool. What's that liquor that drink over there--it's like their national drink...before dinner drink--and they drink it at Christmas a lot too... good stuff.
Serbia--- wow... that was quite a dangerous place a few years ago... hope things are better there now.
