John Broadwood Grand Newbie

Evening/morning all, new to the forum, please forgive any errors etc. I probably can't upload pics yet because I'm a piano world Virgin smile Just bought a JB grand and trying to research its history, it is a rosewood grand with 21100 engraved on the lid & the foot pedal. When we have researched it the John Broadwood site, it is telling us it's an upright! Very confused because the 21100 stamp is on the huge lid, indicating its a grand! Really would appreciate some help/advice please. Darren UK

You need to scroll down further on the page to find the grand serial numbers, as some numbers repeat by type  Under grands, it was between 1875 and 1880
