I liked the fugue very much. You did a great job making the lines clear, and the whole thing feels open and generous. The prelude was nice, too, up to about halfway through. Then you rushed a bit think, hurrying from the end of one phrase to the beginning of another. Just a bit more calm and breathing room between phrases would make it great.

Yes, i enjoyed that. I like bach that's straightforward and to the point. You have a very well developed sense of peddling in bach and it was perfect in the fugue. I was curious as to whether this was an electric keyboard or a piano. Sometimes the fingers lost control at times, like in groups of two or three. I couldn't figure out why. Maybe the allargando at the end of the fugue was a few bars early.
But like i said, in all, i enjoyed your interpretation and playing.

The piano is my NY Steinway B--my room acoustics are just not so great. Didn't notice notes out of control, however I did notice the rushing in the Prelude and was to lazy to record it over LOL. I really should have. The rit. at the end of the fugue is a matter of taste--I just play the music how I feel it, envision it--etc. etc.---- and that's about the size of it Glad you enjoyed though-- it's a wonderful piece but what of Bach's music isn't a wonder! I usually don't tackle Bach--it not at all my "forte"--I'm tway oo "physiological" and not enough "cerebral" for the task I must confess.
