Mendelssohn Variations Serieuses - fast quick fingers
on: August 18, 2015, 05:35:55 AM
Hi guys
I'm currently working on Mendelssohn Variations Serieues and currently up to Var. 8 and 9. How do you get fast figers that 'leave the keys quickly' ? My articulation is either loud and too heavy or light and soft but sticky. How to get the light, firm, crisp touch here?
Thank You

Thankyou for the suggestion adodd81802
I tried practising it in different ways including the one you mentioned. I think it has gotten better. It's true that these fingers need a bit of strengthening cos when I play fast sometimes they look like noodles. Thank you for telling me another way to practise this.
