I think its kind of funny how I start virtually every new page haha
In other news I just had the greatest practice session of my life. I worked on the Pathetique for about 75 minutes, then my Bach Prelude and Fugue, then relaxed with some Chopin (the Nocturne in g minor, op 37/1 if anyone cares). The Chopin, although the really long chromatic run starting on the high "A" (so specific I know) needs some work, went amazingly well, especially the choral.
except for cortot
Ivett <3
Why are you jealous?!?!? hahahaha
Wait- Tony Yike Yang got in? Oh, and that... um.... pencilart doesn't let me talk about him/her...... he got in. But he deserved it!

Julian did a great job.
nope nope nope. People are mad because Tiffany Poon got cut lol
She had great technique but was pretty straight forward in my opinion. She's immensely talented but there are too many special players this year
i'm pretty pissed that tiffany poon got out, she was one of the best
what is this??? The 2nd round got announced??? holy sh-t
yes, despite the efforts of people like you
what do you mean........
HAnsen got in despite the efforts of people like you who imply you think Poon is better.
additional comment:Ji-yeong Mun won the 2015 Busoni... and also the 2014 Geneva (it's not nearly as big as it used to be though)... how will she fare in the Chopin? in any case... that's pretty aggressive, trying to garner all these competition wins...
I think she got kicked out.I found her playing at the Busoni solo rounds (I didn't listen to the final round) even plainer than Youlan Ji's. (By far, actually).
Oh did she? That's not good... of course, she has a lot to brag about on her bio already but losing a huge competition after winning a bunch of other ones... :/
And I am still confused on how Yike Tony Yang got past stage 1 I found his playing sorta timid and stuff.
1. Eric Lu 2. Krzysztof Książek 3. Richard-Hamelin 4. Aimi Kobayashi
Why is Eric Lu at first? The judges aren't ready to give the prize to an American. Besides, there are other great people, too.i.e. Seong-jin Cho, and I didn't hear the other people, but apparently Ivett is pretty good according to PS's unofficial boss

Me too. I thought Tiffany Poon was far better.
