Shostakovich - Prelude in D-Flat Major [Video]
on: August 23, 2015, 11:48:06 AM
After a couple years without taking any piano exam, Ashley did Grade 7 ABRSM this summer.

I wanted to share my preferred piece: a nice little prelude by Shostakovich.

Thanks. he's 12, but he is very dedicated to the piano.

I think it's more about the hours practiced than the actual age. Although the last year progress has been more noticeable.

The teacher reckons boys start to have a musical brain at 13. So we're really looking forward to next year!
