What do you think of these chord progressions?
on: August 25, 2015, 06:47:19 PM
Hi,
A little background, I have been playing the piano since I was 5 mainly practicing for the Trinity exam and eventually completed grade 8. Two years ago, I started composing and only getting feedback from my teacher, family and friends. Since getting the right feedback is important, I decided to start a Youtube channel.
Here is a link
to my first composition in which I have used these chord progression:
D minor- A#- F minor -C
A#- F minor -C- D minor
D minor- C# minor- C
D minor- C- A# - A
Looking forward for your feedback regarding everything like technique, performance, etc
P.S. I am not sure this is the right forum to post this question in, so pardon my ignorance.

I think the chords you are using are
Intro Dm Edim/Bb -- at the end of your intro Bb add 9
the main theme'
Dm Bb F (that's major) C
at 53 seconds you are alternating between Dm and Ddim then there's an A
then Dm C#m C
Dm C Bb A (7)
and I stopped listening there.. sounds interesting
