Debussy - La Fille aux Cheveux de lin
on: August 28, 2015, 04:49:28 AM
from preludes book I the Girl with the Flaxen Hair

maybe it's the microphone from iphone 6 but it felt a lot diff playing than it sounded in the recording. is it too fast?

i have several recordings of the piece all of whom take very individual liberties. i think it is meant to be sentimental, in the best sense.

enjoy

I like it, it is indeed a bit faster then I'm used to but it's not TOO fast

May I ask how long you have been playing the piano? You seem to have a mature touch...

work hard, play hard

I like the tempo..  but I tend to play Claude's tunes a bit faster myself

if I had to say something then maybe just a little more dynamic range but really great job overall not everyone "gets it"  with impressionistic stuff... I liked your interpretation  a lot
