VIDEO: blues improv with a slide show of my artwork... what do you think?

just a little slide show of my artwork with audio ripped from another vid.   It's my artwork and my audio  so spend a couple of minutes in my head and tell me what you think

The paintings exude a strong personality and you make very effective use of intense colour. I particularly like the one at 2:12 - 2:19. Although I have tried improvising under the influence of certain paintings with varying degrees of success, any permanent or direct association between the two media eludes me. I do like your music and your art taken individually though, and the clip is a pleasing juxtaposition of the two.

the music was just background for the paintings I recorded the audio at a different time,  I have been thinking about making a themed slide show though.   Take all of my swamp type paintings and play ragtime behind the pics--that would be cool.   

I would like to make an audio track designed to go with the paintings... or where the emotion of the music and the emotion of the painting are the same.

or like playing a programmatic work and letting the art reflect the music...IDK

I think the neon tint and subject matter works well with the blues… An appropriate union.
I would be curious to see your watercolors without the tint as well… (though it may not be As suitably joined with blues, but still… )

why thanks theme...    I sell a painting here and there...  but mostly I just love playing with the photo editor...  I have stacks and stacks of watercolor paintings though...anytime you wanna come by.. 

I want to make an animated video with my art and music...  maybe tell a children's story or something. have a channel full of them...ahhh..

Your artwork is awesome. Nice florescent touches, and the planets are beautiful. The piano is lovely and relaxing. I could listen to that all day. Not sure that the piano and artwork compliment each other though. Maybe too many slides, but it is all good

art is a newer hobby I am only about 4 years in.   The computer effects give it the neon look...  It's cool with the photo editor--you get a lot more mileage out of your work so to speak.  I can change things 1000 times and never hurt the original--it's just fun.  Some folks play video games...I play with watercolors and a photo editor... when I am not playing the piano that is.

I am working on some basic animation for my next project.   The place I work at has a full recording studio and a professional video editing system that kicks butt.  I will be posting some great looking videos soon---with  pro audio soundtracks
