Prelude in E minor …(Hope Springs) - orig.
on: September 11, 2015, 12:53:25 PM
Hi friends.
This is a miniature, where i attempt to convey a 'much' with very little.
I hope you like it.
Comments are welcome and appreciated.

My apologies for the missing link.. There was a strange distortion on the recording..
I offer this one in its place, which is similar in tone .
"Torch Song" for piano, 5 string violin, and light percussion.

Hey Theme! Awesome awesome job! The only reason I don't give critical feedback to your music is because our styles are so different that its hard to find a balance between not letting my own personally biases get in the way. I do know that you know what you're doing, and all of your ideas are pulled off effectively. Keep up the good work!

Hey guys, thank you very much… As you can tell, it is quite a simple tune… Very few notes…When the piano takes the melody… you could practically count the notes on 2 hands… Then, on second 'chorus' there is a counterpoint melody which i like… With this one i was going Just for mood… Sad. Spacious.
Thank you for listening!
I've noticed you both have been having quite the humorous time lately
I would add, Noah, that your Borge approach brings out a wonderful side to your personality.. (But also I suspect there are other surprising things as well happening/developing in your musical expressivity… )

Quite enjoyable Theme, it's relaxing and quite well conceived, as in it seemed to fulfil its purpose very well The ending was especially good. Thanks
Oh and who are you working with on the Torch Song?

Josh and Francois, Thank you very much!
I appreciate you taking the time to listen.
Josh, the others that played with me on this track are long time friends.. who have played on other music i have written as well. I like their musicianship very much..
