Best Simple Digital Piano

I haven’t played out and about in a while and was thinking about getting out.  I’ve received some requests to back up some people.  What I want is an 88 key keyboard that has a couple of good piano sounds and a Hammond/leslie sound.  I don’t like little rinky dink keyboards.  Something substantial but that one person can carry in a case.  I don’t want to have to sit down and read an owners manual.  Can anyone point me in the right direction?

You may consider a Roland FP-2 or FP-5....Great piano sound! Great Leslie sound! And most importantly portable for a piano with 88 graded hammer keys. 
If you really want 88 keys with a good action you will have to make sort of sacrifice in terms of weight!
There are lots of non weighted truly portable keyboards out there that fit the bill but the touch in my opinion just doesnt cut it!
SO try EVERYTHING you can locally, and see what sounds and feels best to you...
(Roland, Yamaha are the two industry leaders) but there are many makes out there that may pleasantly surprise you.

I have recently bought a CASIO PRIVIA PX-300, and i am very satisfied with it.
It is cheap  (compared with others brands), and his sound and touch feeling is very good.

For a beginner like me, i think it is a very good choice.

Korg is quite good. For example the SP 300.

I played on Korg, Yamaha and Roland and I decided to buy the Korg,
but in my opinion no stage piano can substitute an accustic piano.

I recommend Yamaha P-250.  It runs about $2000 but it has excellent sound and feel.    Good luck.
