Bernhard isn't a completely asinine name, that looks like some AOL-newbie chose it. But, you're right, the likelyhood of Bernhard actually having the name "Bernhard" isn't very high

oh yeah the 'people' came and took bernhard away ages ago, except if he disappeared we'd all notice too much and thus they had to substitute him.

btw my name is tash here and is tash in real life, sure one of the few here who do have such a thing, but i couldn't be bothered thinking of some great original name....
