Good bye for now.
on: September 19, 2015, 01:54:02 AM
I have enjoyed very much chatting and sharing with some of you here, but i feel that the tone here has changed somewhat, and i don't have much to contribute.
I didn't just want to up and leave without saying something… And maybe i will be back in a few months, though i am not certain.
For those that might want to message me, you know where to find me on Soundcloud.
Take care. Be well.  All the best to you.

What the hell? Theme is a really nice guy!

Anyway, Good luck theme, I am seeing what you mean about a change of tone which is unfortunate. I hope you come back sometime as I for one have enjoyed your input. See you later buddy!

And I was one of the 3 people who actually wrote variations on Theme's theme (albeit I wrote a horrible one ;D )

and I'm the person who thought on 50 variations of a never-written piece that I've never composed

Goodbye Theme! I noticed you weren't posting any. I'm sorry to see you leave, but I know what you mean about the tone changing here. I don't think it's all a bad change, (the change with kyle, emily, and this kevon-olivia... thing) is all bad, but I think the forum is just getting a few more people closer to my age, hopefully we'll get some more that aren't quite so... well... you know what I mean.

We'll stay in touch through soundcloud even though I don't use it. I just uploaded a few on there because I couldn't put those filetypes as mp3's on here. But I figured out how to now. So I won't be uploading anything but we can still stay in touch. I think you can definitely contribute here as you are a fine composer and musician but if you would like to go that is entirely your prerogative. It's been good to get to "know" you here, I'll look forward to hearing many more great pieces from you. :)

Thank you chopinlover! I seriously don't want to be associated with this new wave of "Kyle Emily Kevon-Olivia" thing that's taking over piano street and that probably made Theme leave. I'm sorry if I have made some terrible puns, stupid jokes, and maybe insert my views on things a little too strongly. ;) But at least I don't go around trying to "Win World War III".

No, your behavior has always been fine. Even when Thal did his best to insult you  ;D
As long as we stay away from subjects such as religion and politics we will be fine :)

It's not even the content of the posts of these kids that annoy me, there's always room for a little grazyness. It's the way it's presented... plus the bloody twittering and spamming.

It is very sad that people with knowledge and skills like you are leaving this forum or just posting very seldom. I have seen the level of discussion here on PS constantly dropping in the last several months and it is not that fun for me either any more, so I contribute seldom these days.
Just as in real life, those with little or no knowledge have most confidence and just keep posting, I am sorry for this expression, crap - to name things what they are.
The more knowledgeable one is, the more aware one is how much he/she still has to learn and the more humble one is. And the greater dummy, the greater confidence just because he/she has no idea!
