neck ache from a grand piano stand
on: September 23, 2015, 08:48:30 PM
Can anyone please help?  I've just bought a grand piano (Yamaha C3).   For the last 5 years i've played an upright.  After one day of practising (about 2 hours today), I've already got neck ache from looking high up at my music rather than directly facing me as on the upright stand.   I have a good piano stool that I have set high so I think i'm sitting at the right height.  Any advice really appreciated.   Thank you

You need to extend the back of the neck.  PM'd you.
