Okay odd dilemma.
After much deliberation and fussing, I've decided on Mendelssohn's Etude in f minor as my concert etude for my ARCT program. I'm currently working off a free copy off IMSLP.
I always like to buy a 'real' printed copy for exam repertoire, from a trusted publisher like Henle or Peters, to make sure there aren't any errors. Except for some odd reason, I can't seem to find this work, not even at my local specialty store on special order!! What gives?!? All they seem so have are Songs without Words, Sonatas, the Cappriccio, a few chamber works, but I can't find this etude at all.
Does anyone have any idea where I can get a proper accurate published version of this etude?? I don't get why it's obscure, it's such a pretty work!
