A couple of Romantic English requests...
on: October 02, 2015, 05:02:48 PM
Hi! I'm looking for two works by English -proto-romantic composers:
The large-scale and virtuosic Samuel Sebastian Wesley's March and Rondo in c minor and
William Sterndale Bennett's witty 30 Preludes and Lesson
IMSLP has a lot of related works from the same publishers but not these works.
Thanks in advance

If a scan of the Wesley doesn't show up you can find a reprint in ''Early Victorian Composers, 1830-1860'' issued by Garland in 1985. There are over 140 libraries in the US that hold a copy.
