looking for piano music to play for ballet classes
on: October 07, 2015, 03:14:51 PM
Dear Friends, I'm looking for piano music to play for ballet classes; especially 3/4 Adagios (such as slow waltzes); medium tempo, 'stronger flavor" 3/4s for pirouettes, and light/lively 6/8s or 3/8s for "petit allegro".  It just needs a melody and to be in 8 measure phrases.  Might you have any suggestions?  Schubert waltzes and music from ballets such as Swan Lake are examples. Many thanks, everyone!!  --fran in chicago

Yes, improvisation would work for each of you, but for those without those skills, music would be needed.  Since the OP asked for actual music, I would assume that improving for each part of ballet classes would not work.
