Hand Problems
on: October 10, 2015, 02:40:35 AM
I have been experiencing problems with my left hand for a while now.

Wrist:
When I play wide arpeggiated patterns(like Chopin Op25 No1), the turning of the wrist makes a soft popping sound.

Finger joints:
The joints furthest out from the hand on my middle three fingers makes a popping sound as well.

My hand does not feel any pain when the joints pop, but I am worried about the injuries. I tried to figure out what is wrong with my technique, but I still don't know what exactly is causing these problems.

If you do not have access to a Taubman/Golandsky teacher in your geographical area, please respond to me by private message. And, parenthetically, I have never had any formal or informal affiliation with this school.

Nonetheless, their methodology may be of some help to you
