what piece is this?

After watching the recording of Yundi Li's scherzo no.2 at here

I noticed that the piece was only the beginning of scherzo no.2 and I was wondering what was the piece before it?

No, they chopped off the beginning. He only plays one piece on that recording and that is Chopin's second Scherzo. I think it confused you that they left out the first half.
