Liszt Edition of Totentanz (2 Pianos)
on: October 16, 2015, 12:05:35 PM
Hi, I understand that EMB is probably the most recommended edition for Liszt, but apparently they seem to only do Liszt's solo piano stuff.

Any good editions to recommend? Peters is probably the most common but some people I have spoken to do not recommend it.

Lastly, sorry for an extra Liszt thread (in addition to all the other existing ones)

might check out (may need a library inter lending loan) an US publisher, like Paragon

ie

Liszt, Franz. Totentanz: for piano and orchestra. New York: Paragon Music, 1957.

New York public library has a copy, so another city library should be able to request (the others I saw were university, and though it is 'supposed' to be ok for non uni to request these, i find in actuality they like to deny these if it is not coming from another university, still worth a shot either way)
