What qualifies for a 20th/21st century work for college?

I was thinking late Debussy, Ravel and into Prokofiev, Bartok, Ligeti and others.
Your recommendations? I'm only a freshman now, so I have a while yet to learn this.

You're only a freshman? Gosh, I thought you were in your 30s or something haha. 20th century is just 1900-beyond. Medtner, Scriabin, Rachmaninoff, Ravel, Debussy, Ginastera, Prokofiev, Bartok, Stanchinsky, Faure, and Shostakovitch are all composers who wrote music during this time period. Just check the date of the work you want to learn to make sure it was written post-1900. I'm playing Ginastera Danzas Argentinas for college auditions. Its a fun suite of pieces!

Nope, just a very sarcastic freshman, haha!
Ooh, Medtner counts... Tempting. Scriabin also looks nice..
I've played a bit of Ginastera before, I could get into his neater stuff too.
Many thanks for the recommendations!
