How Many Hours Should You Practice the Piano? – The Lines Between Science, Method and Passion

It is a timeless question, a persistent voice in the mind of every pianist: “How many hours must I practice to truly improve?” It springs from a perfectly legitimate desire to measure the commitment required to transform our ambitions into sound, whether that means playing a simple minuet or dreaming of the world’s most prestigious stages. Where did Bernhard go?
on: October 20, 2015, 06:36:10 PM
I was fairly active in this forum (maybe more as a lurker) back in 2002-2005ish, and I remember Bernhard's long and specific posts REALLY helped me out. I really want to put together his posts in a coherent fashion on my blog, maybe with commentary, but I would really like to get his permission first of course.

I looked on his profile and he logged in about a month ago, although I never seem to have seen him post anything for over ten years now! (wow time flies). I PM'ed him with no response.

I would even like to pay him to write more if he would be interested. If anyone knows how to get in contact with him let me know! Or if you see this post Bernhard please contact me! [email protected]

He just got tired of posting, or posting the same over/references his previous posts, or he ran out of ideas maybe.
