I was amazed at the amount of guests viewing things.

So you guests, please go register!  It's easy.  Then you can post your ideas here too.  We want to hear what you have to say (just try to make it on par with the topic).  We want to hear your questions, your ideas, things that you're working on, regardless of your age or level of ability.

Tell your friends!  Bring more people in here!  Tell your piano teachers!

"Guest" may often be a log-in status, not just folks who've never registered.  I breeze through un-logged fairly often, so also count as a guest during those times.   I'm sure there are plenty of real guests, but the count could be skewed by members like me.

This would be better posted at ChopinFiles, but I thought I'd mention that THERE (ie, CF), there are about 1000 registered users, but we only get...say...25 active posters, if "active" were to be defined as posting once every two weeks.

Those stats aren't exactly accurate, but I'm sure they're not far off either. I'm not sure why soooo many people seem to sign up and then leave without ever coming back (or, apparently never coming back...)

Yes, so many sign up and leave.  It's sad.  Like a big pyramid.  Maybe that's what it takes to get a Bernhard.  There's a ton of fossiled newbies here in pf.
