How to practice trills in Mozart?
on: November 17, 2015, 07:33:41 AM
Hello all.
Trills have been somewhat of a weakness for me, especially when done in abrupt ways; not the prolonged type of trill Mozart uses before the orchestra enters, but the one where there are notes after that.
I can play it sure, but it sounds so loud and harsh. I'm having a lot of difficulty with Mozart because he has to sound so nuanced and so "elegant" that he seems to me harder than Scriabin or Chopin.
Any suggestions?
Thanks!
