The Quiet Revolutionary of the Piano – Fauré’s Complete Piano Works Now on Piano Street

In the pantheon of French music, Gabriel Fauré (1845–1924) often seems a paradox—an innovator cloaked in restraint, a Romantic by birth who shaped the contours of modern French music with quiet insistence. Piano Street now provides sheet music for his complete piano works: a body of music that resists spectacle, even as it brims with invention and brilliance. Read more

Hello I was wondering if someone would take the time to critique my 16 year old playing a piano piece. I had a brain hemmorage 2 years ago and I am trying to get some feedback from some of you that would not mind. Thank you.

Not bad playing. Good articulation of melody.
I'm confused on the logistics though; you had a brain hemorrhage 2 years ago (sorry to hear about and I'm glad you're better now!), and this is your son playing? What's the connection?
Forgive my insensitivity, ma'am  ;D
Good to hear your son is playing though. And Evanescence is on the better end of the pop-rock spectrum IMO.

First i would like to say thank you for the your kind words. My point of this is that for over 2 years, because of my injury, my daughter has been flying solo, totally solo. She's been litterly doing everything on her own and I have been handing cash over to strangers. All I'm trying to do is check to be sure things are going as they should, that's all. I'm just a concerned parent (like checking your child's homework)
If I made anyone feel as if the whole tiger thing, I apologize. I'm just trying to catch up and was hoping I could just get some insight.

Another question I have is, the piano. I know it's not a great recording, it was done with an iPhone. But I just want to be sure that the tuner / tech guy has been doing a decent job? My daughter says she thinks it sounds good but I'm curious to what others say. The piano itself is only like 3 years old. I feel good in regards to all that have been working with her and on the piano itself but need reassurance or not from those that would know. As I don't know, I'm just the bank lol...
