When practicing on a grand piano, do you guys leave the lid open or close the lid?

Most of the time, I leave it closed, for two reasons.
1: It takes quite a bit of time end energy to open and close the lid. (I prefer efficiency)
2: 9:00 pm-10:30 pm, when I usually practice, is not the best time to have a piano lid open.

But when approaching a recital or concert, I sometimes open it to get used to the open sound.
