Creepy Pianists

Who are some creepy pianists?

Daniil Trifonov could be creepy when he needed to... and Uchida looked ghostly in her youth:

Any others?

Uchida definitely takes home the prize.  She was actually quite lovely 50 years ago.

ahhh Uchida... we used to call her Eddie Munster...and there is definitely a resemblance.

:'(....I was quite lovely in my youth as well. I am 51..sad...now I only average 1 or 2 marriage proposals per gig... :'( ...sniff...  :'( :'(  it used to be 5-6...   my youthful beauty may have faded (just a little bit) from my face...but it went straight into my hands and it's much easier to hold onto now... 8)

How do you reject them without hurting them? Because when kids ask me out, I'm always too cowardly to reject. I have to find a better way. (Luckily, I'm not very beautiful, so I don't get asked out too often ;D)

very easily... I am already married and my husband is my guitar player so I just introduce them to my man.   Works like a charm.  Guys think it's funny to put money in the jar and ..."marry me."   when I was young it was a little more difficult... :)

I am sure you are beautiful Rubinsteinmad. My daughter told me last year that she felt like she would never be asked out... now the guys are showing up in droves... and actually my husband is equally effective at intimidating my daughters unwanted suitors as well.  LOL

Unlike dcs I have been able to stay unmarried. If you feel someone is unworthy of your time, don't worry about hurting them, just tell them NO. It's not that hard after you've practiced enough. Just like piano :)

It will just hurt them more if you give them false hope and drop them later when they have been completely drawn in by your charm.

Agreed on that point. Just be straight and to the point, otherwise they'll start spreading rumors about you and ruining your reputation by making things up and spreading them around.

Thanks you guys! @dcstudio @outin @chopinlover01

Anyways, I think Radu Lupu could be a werewolf- and he's from Romania, the home of Count Dracula and Transylvania!

The thread title is wrong. Should it not be "your favourite creepy pianists".

I've been told I look terrifying when playing piano.
