Grieg Piano concerto in A minor question
on: December 22, 2015, 02:11:56 PM
Hi, I just have a question, in the first movement of the Grieg A minor concerto how are the arpeggios in the third measure played?, are they played as groups of four or as groups of eight per beat?

Hello
As the score says "Stringendo" on it, which means to increase speed, I would play the first 3-4 arpeggios in 4, whilst gradually getting faster so that the final arpeggios are in groups of 8.
