Grieg Piano concerto in A minor question
on: December 22, 2015, 02:11:56 PM
Hi, I just have a question, in the first movement of the Grieg A minor concerto how are the arpeggios in the third measure played?, are they played as groups of four or as groups of eight per beat?

Hello :)

As the score says "Stringendo" on it, which means to increase speed, I would play the first 3-4 arpeggios in 4, whilst gradually getting faster so that the final arpeggios are in groups of 8. :)
