Well,
there exist a lot:
- NoteWorthy Composer - for free
- Finale (2005) from Codamusic - very expensive but here you can do
EVERYTHING - Professional. But you need a binder to read through unti
you can start
- Capella
has a big library you can start form modifing:
https://web187.eta.ibone.ch/notenregal/Noten/ I have used Capella 2003 - not my favourite - especially
when loading midis - Capella 2005 might be better
- Sibelius (actually 3.0)
Very intuitive and acceptable price
Most likely this I would take for making music from scratch
Still may favourite for midi piano files are form:
https://www.notation.com/Midinotate and Midicompose
If you just want to put any score into some kind of piano format
use MIDINOTATE.
If you want to add/remove/cange scores use MIDICOMPOSE.
Those programs have intelligent split hand functionality for piano players
which allow you to split score inot right hand/lefthand WITHOUT fixed
splitpoint - something I have only seen with those programs ....
