Online lessons?
on: January 03, 2016, 07:53:45 PM
Hi there, I'm curious if anyone can recommend any source for online piano lessons.  Taking lessons with a teacher is not going to work for me at this point in time, but I'm interested in trying to learn on my own.  Has anyone here had any success with online lessons in learning to play and read music?

Thank you in advance!!   ;D

I'm not sure if you are willing to pay for them online or what level you are at but there used to be a site called rocket piano (or something like that) and it was something like £40 and it took you from the very basic aspects to the more complicated, I never actually signed up for it but it did look pretty good.

Its got theory, practical and video lessons

I can't tell you what it looks like these days because I'm at work and it is blocked on this computer

There are a few members in this forum who are fine pianists and offer online lessons themselves. You

I have an online music school Music Lessons Anywhere, we specialise in piano lessons!

We hold workshops and musical get togethers which are free to students who take regular lessons, arrange ABRSM exams, and even stage a concert once a year where students play live at the venue and live online.

You can find out more about my school here...
