We should try our best not to lose ronde_des_sylphes. We are very fortunate to have him, but he knows his priorities well and does not post much unless it is useful (unlike j_menz's other 2 successors...)

When someone gets married, there's two options on how things go.  Everything stays the same, or everything gets worse.  Or everything gets better (I guess).  So three options.  That's not a mindset, that's FACT.  Replace marriage with anything else in life like...  College or getting a new job.  There's only three options on how your life could go.  Better, worse, or the same.

Divorce rates are high cause people marry with incomplete information.  PERIOD.  They marry too young (prematurely), or they think they truly know their partner but didn't know that the other was a psycho b*tch and they don't know how to settle
Problems, or they lack preparation for post marriage life, or they realized after they're married that they don't wanna stop *** other people and don't wanna be committed to one person so they cheat, didn't know the other one was abusive, etc...

Either you fall out of love, which is horrible, or you stay in love until one of you dies and the loss is horrible to the survivor.  There are no good outcomes.

Unless you stay in love and are both killed exactly simultaneously.  I guess that could happen.  Rare though.

You responded to a post pointing out that your anti-gay remark was wrongly placed, and that gay marriage is a matter of equality.... by equating that to condoning pedophilia.
Please, do remind me, how many times has this happened before? How many times, in states which allow trans individuals (most of whom you don't even know are trans after operations like surgery and testosterone shots), have people cross-dressed as another gender to get into the bathroom for a potential glimpse at panties or something?

Furthermore, if you're for banning transgender bathrooms because some people might abuse those rights and harm our children, then why aren't you rallying against the ridiculous lack of gun laws in this country? Guns kill over 30,000 people EVERY YEAR, and yet I've heard NOTHING from you. I thought laws don't stop criminals from committing crimes, why are transgender bathrooms the exception?
None of these things are about giving minorities special rights. What they're about is EQUALITY.
Special rights would be things like, say, gay or trans people not having to pay taxes.

It's not like that really. Most people are still ok with the situation except for the financial problems that the latest immigration causes. But we'll deal with it. Soldiers of Odin are bored young men who think it will make them important to "patrol the streets". They would normally go around kicking windows. Low educated, unemployed and often with a criminal record. Most people are more worried about them than any immigrants.

In my country the right wing government gained it's popularity by claiming to bring good for everyone. Now that their cover has been blown they are more unpopular than ever. If we had an election now, we'd have a nice green - left government
