Duet with simple melody
on: January 22, 2016, 03:18:16 PM
I've played piano for 15 years or so, but my girlfriend just started playing. I'm trying to find a piano duet with a simple melody (her part) and more difficult bass (my part). Any suggestions?

Faure's "Dolly" is great, especially mvt 3 - Le Jardin de Dolly:

Both parts are quite easy, especially the upper melody.
Good luck!

Have her repeatedly hit D#, and you play the rest of La Campanella under her XD
I am trying to become Franz Liszt. Trying. And failing.
