Instructional Editions...where are they?
on: February 21, 2016, 02:11:20 PM
In July PianoStreet announced the beginning of Instructional Editions that we could download as part of our membership.  Four pieces were posted with the message there would be more to come.  There haven't been any more Instructional pieces since then.  Has the plan been shelved?

There are now 15 pieces having Instructive Editions (including Practice Guide and Practice Score) available and more are under production. I agree that they are not so easy to find, not least from the message you refer to which is an old blog post. The easiest way to see which pieces have Instructive Editions is to visit this recently updated page:

Could somebody please explain what these editions actually are?

Sounds really good, shame there isn't a bigger collection of these pieces.

Does anyone else have trouble with Traumeri and the Clementi Sonatina.  When I click on them it tells me that they could not be found.

The Piano Street has not added any new instructional editions for over 1year. I wish they invest more on this.
