The Quiet Revolutionary of the Piano – Fauré’s Complete Piano Works Now on Piano Street

In the pantheon of French music, Gabriel Fauré (1845–1924) often seems a paradox—an innovator cloaked in restraint, a Romantic by birth who shaped the contours of modern French music with quiet insistence. Piano Street now provides sheet music for his complete piano works: a body of music that resists spectacle, even as it brims with invention and brilliance. Read more

hi dcstudio,

you sound great!  ;D
Recently, I've been wanting to play jazz/blues, but have only played classical in the past. I have no idea where to get started with playing these genres. It feels a bit daunting because my theory isn't great, and I can't improv for anything. Do you have any tips to start learning jazz and blues?

Edit: oooops. I realize this is in the anything but piano section. Sorry about that, guys! :P

Wow, that was great! Jazz is something I don't really understand but still enjoy. I'm intensely impressed by jazz pianists. Very nice!
