How Many Hours Should You Practice the Piano? – The Lines Between Science, Method and Passion

It is a timeless question, a persistent voice in the mind of every pianist: “How many hours must I practice to truly improve?” It springs from a perfectly legitimate desire to measure the commitment required to transform our ambitions into sound, whether that means playing a simple minuet or dreaming of the world’s most prestigious stages. Haydn: Keyboard Sonata in D major, Hob. XVI:4
on: March 04, 2016, 10:28:17 PM
Hi everyone,

It's been two days since my previous video and I decided to upload a next one. I'm planning on uploading one to my YouTube channel every other day and hope to get some more subscribers.

Anyway, please tell me what you think of this performance of Haydn's Keyboard Sonata. I tried as hard as possible to depict it in a way that would do right to Haydn's own unique style:

Thanks!

BW,
Marijn

Wow, very nice!!  :) I love Haydn and your performance was very enjoyable so I watched twice.
It also made the video more exciting that the camera angles were changing.
