Please help!
on: March 15, 2016, 04:32:15 AM
Hi everyone, My name is Pras and I'm planning on proposing to my girlfriend at the end of the year. I'm hoping to be able to sing and play a song that she loves but the only problem is I'm not a pianist. I am though willing to put in the hard work! The song is called "You're Beautiful" by Chester See, and I'm after the exact score as played in this version of the song.

I would greatly appreciate any help! =)

In this case, you have 2 options. You can rather start at the basics and learn piano, then pick up that song, or you can figure out the individual notes to play for one song, which is a tedious process, and the notes will have a robotic sound to them. you could just play the chords of the song, which wouldn't be too difficult, but if you wanna play it as it is in the video, if reccomend learning the basics of piano.
Recently learned:
Beethoven- sonata 32, op111, I
Chopin- sonata 2, scherzo
Liszt-Etude 4, S.136
Rachmaninoff-Prelude C Sharp Minor
Learning:
Liszt-Transcendeal Etude 2
Chopin-Etude op25 no 11

oh yea aren't you an expert.   do you think anyone believes you actually play those pieces you have listed?  post just one.  Until then quit talking out your ass because you are making a fool of yourself.

I'm not sure these examples help. I also think it's highly unlikely the OP has the dedication and motivation required to do nothing but play this piece for the next 6 months straight (assuming their goal was to do nothing but learn this piece, it's possible, highly unlikely, but possible) Non-Pianists, like any area of study, have no idea just how much work is required for a natural musical sound from a piece.
